It’s just a big hole in the ceiling.
When you open and close a door, you more than likely hear the shutters flop open and closed. Every time you hear them flop open, you’re losing money.
Your fan shutters are probably in the hallway, your thermostat is probably close to it. When you walk past the whole house fan, you feel a cold spot, or in the summer, a hot spot. Your thermostat feels it too, causing the furnace or air conditioner to come on when it might not really need to. This is wasting energy.
When it’s cold outside, the heat in your home, that you are paying a lot of money for, is escaping through the fan shutters because they don’t seal tight. All that expensive heat is going right up through that big, un-insulated hole.
If it’s hot enough that you are using the air conditioner instead of the whole house fan, the heat in your attic is radiating right into your house. You can imagine what this is doing to your electric bill.

Material and Easy Installation

It’s made of Low-E, reflective foil insulation, 48”x48”, only ¼” thick, and it can be trimmed to fit any size shutter up to 48” square. It’s white on one side to match your ceiling.
The best part is, it attaches with self-adhesive hook and loop on the ceiling side of the shutters so you can easily remove it if you want to use your fan. Then put it right back on when you are done.
No more going into the attic.
No more plastic and duct tape. (Everyone has covered them this way)
Quick and easy way to save money.
The Shuttercover is by far the best product you can buy to cover your whole house fan shutters.
AVAILABLE AT THESE FINE RETAILERS for UNDER $30
LOWES
WESTLAKE ACE HARDWARE
WW GRAINGER
SUTHERLANDS
MEEKS
HERRMAN LUMBER

Re: How to Create and Maintain Organized Basement and Garage Spaces

You will also need an adequate sized desk for your work at home job. On your desk you should have room for your computer, printer, and a fax machine if you find it necessary for your business. You will also need a filing cabinet to organize all the paperwork that comes with running a business. This and organized files can make your business a lot easier to run.
__________________
http://www.guia-femenina.com

Re: What to do When Your Power Goes Out

The last time the power was out, my sisters, my mom and I played charades!
________________
http://www.guia-femenina.com/

Re: Mistakes to Avoid when Opening, Closing, or Cleaning Your Pool

One of the most common mistakes at the time of the swimming pool opening is that the swimming pool timer is never set properly causing the pool water not to filter long enough. You will need to run your swimming pool filter for at least 48 – 72 hours after removing the pool cover. Failure to properly remove all the debris and bacteria out of the swimming pool water at start up may cause the pool to have constant algae growth all during the swimming pool season.
__________________
http://www.guia-femenina.com/aumento-senos

Re: 5-Star Success: Heavy-Duty Light Work

I'll back again for sure, thanks for great article :D

Re: Food Network Kitchen Remodels

We decided to go with glass tile for our kitchen backsplash. I own an apartment locating company, http://www.apartmentninjas.com, and have more important things to worry about than a $30 electricity bill (my excuse for being an idiot). That said, I know many people that procrastinate, including clients, just like me and would love to put an end to it. If someone would Facebook me, text me or even leave a notice on my door a couple of days before the lights going out I would actually remember to pay the dang thing. Any Ideas?

Re: The First Step of Pest Control may be Pet Control

I have been reading your blog last couple of weeks and enjoy every bit. I called a team that installed stair lifts for my grandparents that are living with me. Because they were quite expensive I bought a home warranty policy.
